The wine is a brilliant golden yellow with an intense and complex nose. First impressions are warm and spicy, with cardamom, bourbon vanilla and almonds. After a while it opens up with orange blossom, white peach and guava.

The body is round and voluptous with a smooth mouthfeel. Spicy wood aromas together with ripe fruit like peach and pineapple dominate the middle palate. Long finish. In my opinion this wine needs a few years to present at its very best and should be decanted if drunk in its youth. Enjoy in a wide burgundy glass.
