Named after the abbey ruins close to the winery, Rosso dell'Abazia is Veneto's best kept secret. The wine has a deep ruby red colour with a garnet rim. The nose is intense with blackberries, cassis, cherry and violets on a background of vanilla and cedarwood. The wine is full-bodied with incredibly silky tannins and a refreshing acidity. Aromas of blackberries, blackcurrant, chocolate, tobacco and freshly sliced mushrooms with a persisting finish. Long ageing potential.
