Still wines (particularly red) from Champagne are becoming increasingly popular as the quality is constantly getting better. In my opinion one of the best, this wine is a good example of what the region can produce with ripe and carefully selected grapes.
Quite deep in colour, except at the rim, the wine has a spicy nose with notes of cardamom, sour cherries and raspberry jam. It is light on the palate with refreshing acidity and fine tannins. Aromas of strawberry, cherry and pink grapefruit with a warm cinnamon note throughout the finish.
